From the beginning, the Saint Paul Federation of Teachers has worked, and will continue to work, for better schools for children and for better working conditions for all members. Many of the problems that face the public schools and staff are continuing problems. Members must forever be on the alert to protect what they have and solve new problems as they arise.

The Minnesota Sierra Club's members are your friends and neighbors. Inspired by nature, we work together to protect our communities and the planet. The North Star Chapter is one of the Club's oldest, recently celebrating our 40th anniversary of helping to preserve and protect the environment in Minnesota. We do this through both educational programs and political activism.

The primary purpose of the Minnesota Women's Political Caucus parallels that of NWPC - increasing the number of elected and appointed women in office. This has been done by targeting, endorsing, contributing funds and volunteers, working to publicize women's campaigns, and encouraging members to serve on campaign committees. The screening, endorsement and funding of candidates is carried out by a separate Political Action Committee (PAC).

Progressive Majority's mission is to elect progressive champions. We accomplish this by identifying and recruiting the best progressive leaders to run for office; coaching and supporting their candidacies by providing strategic message, campaign, and technical support; prioritizing the recruitment and election of candidates of color; and bringing new people into the political process at all levels.

The mission of womenwinning is to encourage, promote and support pro-choice women's leadership in all political parties and levels of public office. womenwinning was established in 1982 by 25 non-partisan pro-choice women who wanted to increase the number of women in public office.

Education Minnesota is the largest advocate for public education in the state. Our 70,000 members work at all levels from pre-kindergarten through post-secondary, at public schools, state residential schools and college campuses.

The mission of the Somali Democratic Alliance is to unite the political voice of the Somali community in Minnesota and to support the election of candidates who care about our issues and share our values.
